(oct 8-12)
This week we have had alot of rain, and so no birdies have come to our feeder. The seeds got wet and so we have changed it.

since we are in a tropical country, we have a lot of birdies around, but, we also have alot of trees and plants which are alot more apealinag to the birdies than our seeds in the feeders... we have not seen any birds eat from the feeders, but the seed is being eaten...

We have had a real drop off in the amount of birds coming by our feeder. The weather has turned colder and one would think more birds would be showing up. One student suggested that may be some birds were flying south for the winter and stopped for a snack.

We were out of school the week of Nov. 19-23 for Thanksgiving break, so we have no data to report this week.

We are still here but have not been visited by any birds since we put up our window feeder. For a while, we watched the crows and wild turkeys munching in our schoolyard. But then when they went away (hunting season began) we put up our small window feeder. We hope that the little birds find it soon.
